We couldn’t even get into the room we had booked. No door code had been sent, and repeated calls to the provided number went unanswered. The email address was invalid too. After spending two hours on the doorstep trying to get someone to let us in, we’d had enough and asked our travel agent to find us somewhere else. While we waited at the entrance, neighbors told us this had happened before, with other guests left without a code and unable to enter. We felt we deserved zero stars. Avoid this place at all costs.

The location is convenient for visiting Campo Pequeno arena. There was no staff member for check-in, but the door codes had been messaged in advance. Outside, we met other guests who hadn’t received theirs and couldn’t get in. The cleanliness and state of repair were completely unacceptable: stains on the beds and pillows, a shared bathroom that hadn’t been advertised, leaking air conditioning, and a dirty shower and sink. I would not recommend staying here.

Simple rooms, but they did the job for a city break and the stay was good value. Our room had its own fridge/freezer, and there’s a clean, well-kept communal kitchen with a cooker, microwave, and a large fridge/freezer. Cooking there saved us a few restaurant bills. The metro station was closed during our visit, but it’s right outside the front door. There’s a grocery shop directly across the road, less than a five-minute walk, and a bigger supermarket within ten minutes. Pedro was friendly and quick to respond. We arrived without the entry codes, but after we messaged him, he fixed it in 20 minutes or less. There’s nobody at the hotel or reception, and from the street it’s hard to tell where the suites are. We had to ask our booking agent to contact Pedro, but thankfully we got the code and everything worked out. It would be perfect if someone were at the desk.

I booked NLC Rooms & Suites for one night and had problems from the start. Agoda’s listed phone number went unanswered despite several calls, and the email address was invalid. There was no clear hotel sign on arrival, only a building name and floor in the listing. We got in only after someone remotely opened the door and called, claiming to be from the property. He said he got my number from Agoda, but he hadn’t used my only phone number. This is a staffless, remotely controlled property, and that wasn’t disclosed when I booked. Waiting outside an apartment door while someone controlled access remotely left us feeling very unsafe and uncomfortable. It felt more like a hidden rental than a professional hotel. When I asked for a refund over the safety concerns, the person was rude and dismissive. We had to urgently book another hotel at extra cost. Agoda refused to refund us under its strict no-show policy, even though we had arrived and couldn’t safely check in. DON'T BOOK THIS PROPERTY. Avoid it if you care about your safety, comfort, and basic transparency.
