We picked the romantic Olivier apartments after checking out a lot of places. For our first visit to Lisbon, the location put us close to everything we wanted to see. The apartment had plenty of space, everything we needed, and it all worked perfectly. GO FOR IT.

The location was very good, but the studio itself was dirty and really uncomfortable, with mould in the bathroom. We paid AUD 720 for four nights. It’s on the sixth floor, and there’s no lift, just stairs that get narrower as you go up, so it’s not suitable if you have big luggage. We also had to take all the trash down ourselves at the end, or pay a €10 penalty. Definitely not worth the price.

Funchal makes a handy base for visiting Madeira, and this apartment is close to pretty much everything you need. It was clean and comfortable, and the internet was perfect. Right nearby there’s a little cove for swimming, the old town, main market, gym, supermarket, and buses. Recommended as a base for exploring the island.

The location couldn’t have been better. We had a great stay in one of Olivier’s apartments, and Olivier was very reliable. Whenever anything came up, he was available and ready to help. Thank you very much, I can only recommend this place!
