Give yourself time to enjoy the garden and its story, and don’t miss the chapel in the main building. There are two pools, and breakfast has a special feel to it, especially if you love the breads made at the hotel. The rooms were exceptionally clean and followed a special protocol. The bell service is well established and very kind, though it pays to be patient. The fitness center could use new mats and a couple of exercise machines. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality.

The people here made the biggest impression on us. Every staff member we met was so kind and friendly. The hotel is beautiful, and our room was spotless. The sheets and towels smelled so fresh, which I really appreciate. We had a wonderful experience. ❤️

The card charge was the most stressful part of our stay: about €700 was charged by mistake. The front desk called it a “system error,” and the staff did help sort it out. The property itself is stunning, with breathtaking decor that really does feel like an authentic palace, and the front desk team welcomed us warmly. A couple of smaller details also fell short for a five-star hotel. Breakfast coffee was brewed ahead and left in pots, so by the time we had it, it had lost freshness and tasted quite acidic. After housekeeping came, our tea bags and coffee capsules hadn’t been replenished, and one of our cups had been taken without a replacement. I love the look of the place and the kindness of the team, but I hope management fixes these service details to meet the Palace experience.

The breakfast included was the best I’ve ever had. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and Maria at the front desk was especially informative. Luke, our bellhop, showed us around, and Sarah gave us a tour with some history and behind-the-scenes views. The place was beautiful, and the customer service was more than exceptional. Everything felt just right.

Pedro Raposo really made our visit to Pestana Palace Lisboa. He told the Palace’s story in such an authentic way and took wonderful care of us. When the Front Office team couldn’t step away because they were busy, he offered to show us around the property in detail. I admire his enthusiasm, professionalism, and ability to connect with guests. The restaurant food and atmosphere were impeccable. The Palace is impressive, with a rich history, and the rooms are high quality, especially the suites in the main Palace building. I strongly recommend Pestana Palace Lisboa.
