The owners were lovely. They kept in touch over WhatsApp and email and sent helpful ideas for things to do and places to eat around Lisbon, which I really appreciated. The location was great, and getting there meant some hills depending on which way you came, though nothing too bad for Lisbon. There’s AC, which was a big help during the heat wave. It’s a shared flat, so the kitchen and bathrooms are used by everyone, and the experience depends a bit on who else is staying. A couple of days there were some really messy and very loud people around, which felt uncomfortable. That was down to the other guests more than the place itself.

I booked last week, then got an email yesterday saying the reservation had been canceled. When I called, they said the bank hadn’t completed the payment. Revolut told me it had gone through on the 5th. Now I’ve checked the room prices and they’ve gone up. It feels like they’re ripping off customers. I’ll file a formal complaint when I’m in Lisbon on Friday.

The owner was very helpful, and my room was really clean. Everything is close by in this touristy central part of Lisbon: cafés, bars, restaurants, a shopping center, trams, and buses. I just walked around and enjoyed seeing the city.

The host was super helpful and friendly, and Tram 28 stops right in front of the apartment. It’s a really good way to visit Lissabon.

Rooms are good and inexpensive, and everything was very tidy and peaceful. The owner was good too. We extended our stay several times and were offered discounts.
