Solar dos Mouros

Francois, Rio, and the rest of the staff gave me the best hotel service I’ve ever received. They suggested things to do and ways to get around, and made it feel like coming home after a day of sightseeing. The comfortable room had a beautiful view. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel in Lisbon’s Alfama area.

The rooftop suite made our stay. Its private terrace had the Lisbon view I’d hoped for, and we spent hours out there. The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like Porto in a carafe, coffee and tea, robes, and slippers. The hotel itself is gorgeous, perched at the top of the hill by the castle. We didn’t mind the climb and loved being above the rest of the city. I’ve worked in hospitality for years, and I’ve never had better hotel service. Rio, Francois, and the whole team absolutely blew me away. We’d definitely stay again.

The service from everyone at Solar Dos Mouros was outstanding. The staff were so helpful and accommodating, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Booking direct saves you money, too. Our room had a mind-blowing view and was very well appointed. They’d left port wine and fresh fruit, which was a lovely touch. The location is great, close to everything, and breakfast was incredible. I won’t spoil it. Just go!

The view from our room and the terrace at breakfast each morning was a real treat. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the hotel is well placed for exploring Alfama and the rest of Lisbon. There’s a nearby elevator that can save you the stairs up to the road. My wife and I spent three nights at Solar dos Mouros this summer for a short honeymoon, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. Everyone made us feel welcome and well looked after, especially François, Rio, and Bruno. We’d happily stay again. Thanks to the whole team!
