The bathroom was clean, and I didn’t come across any bed bugs. But the bedding and towels seemed decades old, and the sheets smelled bad. For 41 euros, not even getting clean sheets and pillows was really disappointing.

The private room was like a little hotel room and super comfy. Good atmosphere, helpful staff, and the shared bathroom was clean. I’d come back.

The heat in our room was so bad that I ended up sleeping on the floor to cool down. We booked two nights but checked out after the first one. I do extreme sports, but I couldn't manage two nights there. I honestly think conditions in most prisons are better, and some authority in Portugal should be notified. The rooms are tiny, with no windows, and the cooling fan blows dust around when you try to sleep. The walls are paper thin, so you hear everything, and the place was dirty everywhere. If you want to ruin your holiday and have the worst night of your life, book here.

I found this place on Google while I was in a rush. Reviews mentioning toilets and bed bugs had me worried, but my experience was the opposite: clean toilets, comfortable beds, and a really nice host. Totally worth the money!

A good option for an adventurer on a budget. It’s not luxurious, but there’s enough for a weekend stay, including a private bathroom. Very close to transport and the city center.
