The location was great, but after four nights it was clear the room needed maintenance. There was a washing machine and AC, which was nice, but that’s where the good points ended. No deadbolt on the door, a hard bed, lots of noise, and a musty, damp smell. There was only enough coffee for one night, and since pods were the only option, I couldn’t even buy grounds. The TV stations didn’t work, though Netflix was fine. The walls were damaged, and despite good shower pressure, water leaked all over the bathroom floor. Amenities were limited to hand soap and a hair dryer. Better options for the money, definitely.

There’s no reception, and our access code didn’t work at first. Within a few minutes, though, a limehome agent had given us a new one. The apartment is modern, well appointed and has everything you could need for a short stay in a great location. Trams and buses pass under the windows every few minutes. It’s charming, but probably not for light sleepers. Most of us slept fine even with services running late into the night.

The second time I stayed here was awful. The apartment smelled of fish and urine, the floor, sink, kettle, bin, and fridge were dirty, and the sheets and towels hadn't been changed. I was there with my 3-year-old and ended up buying a mop to clean. On my first visit, things were acceptable, though the bathtub stopper was missing and there was visible mold. I’m completely sure I left my coat in the apartment when I checked out on 12/28, but they said they couldn’t find anything.

The apartment was modern and clean, and getting around was easy since tram, bus, and metro stops are nearby. We could see a lot of Lisbon on foot too. We were very happy with our stay at limehome Lisbon Rua do Arsenal and would book this place again.

We had a full kitchen for the four of us, and the apartment was really spacious. Its location made it easy to walk everywhere in Lisbon. Great place, and I’d definitely come back.
