The daytime receptionists were really nice, and breakfast was pretty good for the price. The room was very clean, while the bathroom was only kind of clean, and one shower head kept falling off. My two friends and I nearly got stuck in the lift. It showed a max load warning even though we were nowhere near the weight limit. I told the night receptionist because I wanted to make sure nobody else got stuck, but they were really unpleasant.

Tagus Palace works well for a few nights in Lisbon. The room was cleaned every day and the bathrooms were clean. It could be more comfortable, sure, but for the price it’s a good deal.

Comfortable beds, a lovely living room, and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly too. It’s a real find. Some people might find it a bit noisy, but it’s very central and that’s the sound of a busy city. Highly recommended.

The owner’s priorities seem to be making as much money as possible, and the place suffers for it. Once she found out I’d be away for a few days, the lady took my belongings from the room and put them all mixed together in bags, even though I’d paid for the room in advance. When I called to ask what had happened, she was very disrespectful. The property itself isn’t great either. There’s no elevator, and depending on which building you get, you may feel misled because one place is much worse and in a worse location. There can be a lot of noise at night and they don’t really do anything about it. Most of the time, nobody is there overnight if you need help. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone if the owner doesn’t care about the place or its guests.
