Once we got into the room, it was clean, but the shower doors leaked onto the floor. The desk and chair made the entrance a tight squeeze, and I thought the pillows were terrible. Breakfast was basic but fair. The toilets in the breakfast room were out of order on one of the three nights we stayed. There isn't much near the hotel unless you're up for a long walk, so I'd suggest Uber or the metro. What bothered me most was the check-in delay. We arrived at noon knowing check-in was at 3pm, and the receptionist said we could get in at 1:30. We waited in the lobby and charged our phones after a long travel day. At 1:30 she said it'd be another 15-20 minutes, which was fine, but an hour later she told us the room wouldn't be ready until 3:30. Why offer an early check-in if the room time isn't certain? Also, a cleaner came in after we entered and offered us two fresh pillows, which made me wonder why they weren't fresh already if the room had just been cleaned. I'd rate it 3/5.

We felt very welcome the whole time and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is lovely, and the staff were friendly, pleasant, and helpful. We also liked the original idea of having proverbs on the walls throughout the hotel. Thank you, and best of luck!

Our Lisbon booking fell apart on arrival, leaving us out on the street with no help. The woman at the front desk found us a room, answered our questions, and even let us use the facilities to shower after a 16-hour flight, before we’d officially checked in. The staff were amazing, and the service and breakfast were great. I’d recommend this hotel over anything nearby.

Sophia at reception made our stay even nicer. She was warm, professional, and always smiling. The Icon Hotel itself is lovely, clean, and comfortable, with a homey feel. Breakfast was delicious, varied, and high quality. A perfect stay, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

I paid $482 for three nights, and it didn’t feel worth it. The room was extremely cramped, with barely enough room for the large bed and a tiny shower where it was hard to move around. It costs 20% more than the twin room just for that one large bed. The small window left the air feeling stuffy, and the AC barely worked. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
