TURIM Marques Hotel

It was easy to walk to many of the places on our itinerary, and the location worked really well. The food was delicious, with lots of breakfast choices. Our rooms were spotless, had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. The service was fantastic too, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful.

I was in Lisbon for a few days to shoot a commercial and didn’t know where to go. Edmar kindly marked plenty of interesting restaurants and places on a map for me. The front desk team were so professional and kind, and even called my room after check-in to make sure I was safe and happy, especially since I was traveling alone. The front desk, bar, and breakfast restaurant staff are among the best hotel staff’s in Lisbon. Their service makes this hotel four stars. Wakson greeted me outside on my first day with a huge smile and carried all my heavy bags up to my room. My first room was lovely, clean, elegant, quiet, and relaxing. There was a shower leak that flooded my bathroom, but Claudio sorted it out quickly and moved me to an even better room. It was just as clean, quiet, and elegant, and had a bathtub too. Thank you, Edmar, Claudio, & Wakson, and all the Turim Marquês Staff. I’ll be back soon.

The staff were consistently welcoming, kind, and helpful, and the breakfast had a fresh, varied selection of very good quality. Our room and bathroom were spacious, well kept, and spotless, with a high level of comfort. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay at Hotel Turrim Marques and would recommend it for a comfortable visit to Lisbon.

I expected a lot more from a four-star hotel. WiFi didn’t work at all, and the room was uncomfortably warm. The air conditioning was centrally controlled, so we couldn’t adjust it ourselves. When we raised the problem, staff suggested opening the window. The hotel is directly under a flight path, though, and the planes made a lot of noise through the night. The TV wasn’t working when we checked in, and the maintenance person left its wires and module hanging loose in the room, which looked messy and unprofessional. The hotel advertises an eight-minute trip from the airport, but it took us around 30 minutes. It was a frustrating, sleepless stay, and I was very disappointed with Turim Marquês Hotel.
