We had to pay a 250€ deposit to get the keys, though it wasn't mentioned anywhere. If you don't pay on arrival, you can be locked out. Apparently the money isn't going toward repairs. Many of the same problems had already appeared in reviews more than four months earlier, which makes it seem they don't care as long as the place earns money. The neighborhood didn't feel safe to us. We ended up taking taxis or Uber back to the apartment, and odd-looking people on the street kept catcalling the girls in our group. The city center is about a 30-minute walk, if that helps. At first the apartment looks nice and modern, but there are lots of problems. The bathroom humidity extractor doesn't work, and the shower has no door, so water spills out. Poor water pressure keeps shutting off the boiler, leaving us with cold showers about 80% of the time. Some furniture is broken, with chipped wood and damaged drywall. The AC in the main room leaks badly, and after we left it on, we returned to a huge puddle that had soaked our belongings. The coffee machine doesn't work and has a large dent on the side, as if it had been dropped and never replaced.

They ask for a 250€ deposit in a shady way, even though it isn't listed when you book. Then they avoid giving any receipt or proof they took the money. I've been asking for three days and still have nothing. They're completely rude, and the house has several broken things, including a clogged shower and a broken door. The walls are covered in marks too, and I could keep going. Stay away if you want a peaceful vacation.

We rented apartment 10A, but the Abritel (VRBO) listing was wrong: it advertised four rooms and two bathrooms, while the apartment actually has two rooms and one bathroom. No one took responsibility for the error, and they kept passing us off to someone else. The cleaning was very superficial. I sent photos to the host, but nobody came to clean.

Finding out on arrival that Booking required a 250€ deposit that wasn't shown anywhere feels close to a scam. I later saw several Booking comments from people who said they never got their deposits back, so honestly I'm worried. I'd give this zero if that were possible.
