Yes! Lisbon Hostel

The bunk curtains and big lockers under the beds were such a relief, and the rooms were tidy with bathrooms being cleaned constantly. The location was perfect for walking wherever we needed to go. Breakfast cost €5 and included hot and cold food. Dinner was €15 for three courses with unlimited sangria or beer, and the cook made amazing food, though I can’t remember her name. Claudia at reception was delightful and had such kind energy. After three average hostel stays in a row, I’d started losing faith in hostels. This place brought it back, and I’d definitely recommend it.

This is definitely a hostel for people who like socialising and going out. The staff were friendly, but I often felt they pushed the activities and offerings pretty hard, including day trips, dinners and bar crawls. When I checked in at 1am, the person at the desk spent 30 minutes talking about the hostel while I just wanted to get to sleep. Some trips cost a lot compared with going on your own or in a small group, so I’d book Sintra independently and eat out in Lisbon. The location is very central and close to public transit. Rooms were clean and had good AC. Bathrooms were a bit cramped and old, and shared by the whole floor rather than attached to the rooms.

There were always fun events, and the lounge felt homey and worked really well as a common space. Everything was clean, and the service was the best I’ve had at a hostel. I’d definitely stay again. Special mentions to Manni, Nancy, Tiago and Ferrucci 🎤👏🏼

My six-bed room had an ensuite bathroom and was spotless. One thing for girls and anyone with long hair: the shower only had a large shower head. The staff were welcoming, and the blonde woman had such good vibes. The other guys were nice and helpful too. They let me charge my phone after checkout while I waited to pick up my luggage and head to the airport. My roommates were nice, which definitely helped with the atmosphere and cleanliness. They said the activities were fun, especially the weekend pub crawl. I stayed one night and give it five stars.
