This is going to stick in my memory as the worst place I've ever stayed overnight. The room smelled intensely of tobacco when I arrived. The staff did what they could to sort it out, and I do want to give them credit for that, but nothing helped. They should take care to prevent smoking in that space. My clothes and backpack are now soaked in the smell because it was so concentrated. I've come away with inflamed airways and a headache. Please take this seriously.

A cozy place with an exceptionally clean feel. The rooms were comfortable, and the bedding and towels were clean and smelled lovely. The staff deserve a special mention: everyone was helpful, cheerful and quick. I'd recommend it a million times. Thank you for everything, Salero Guest House. You were essential to my move to Portugal.
