Three things management could improve: the common areas have a strong, funny humidity smell; the cleaning staff are loud enough to be heard in the rooms; and the room door lock doesn't feel very secure. Still, we don't regret choosing this place for a calm, restorative weekend. The stay was perfect for relaxing and exploring nearby. The hotel was nicer than expected, clean, recently renovated, with a nice room and friendly staff. Breakfast was fair, as expected for a 3-star hotel. Tap water is drinkable, and the mineral Luso water sold in the supermarket comes from here. Buçaco forest is a must, simply amazing.

Inside, the hotel turned out quite pleasant, but it has a few problems. There's no restaurant, which can make finding somewhere to eat difficult and very expensive. Breakfast was nothing special, and I expected more. There isn't really parking at the hotel, just four spaces out front, so otherwise you have to find a spot elsewhere. The building hasn't been modernized much, and the room locks feel unsafe. The indoor pool has long opening hours, which is useful in winter, but although it's said to be heated, the water is only a little warm and still feels cold.

A lovely elderly lady was there on Christmas Day. The hotel has a lovely family atmosphere, and the price was very good for the location and facilities.

For the price, it's very reasonable, and the bed is really comfortable. It's a nice hotel for a one-night stay. The shower takes a while to warm up and doesn't have much pressure. Breakfast could be a little better.

A cosy hotel right in the middle of the village, with a nice view of the thermal spa from our room. The service was perfect. My friend left her jacket in the closet, so we called reception afterwards and they shipped it to Belgium.
