The owner was kind and helpful, and the place was awesome to stay in. I recommend it!

The setting was good, near the edge of a ravine and almost at the end of a dead-end street. The electric gate and generous private parking were very convenient. We also appreciated the two lettuce heads and three tomatoes from the owner's garden, brought to us by his sister. The owner let us into the cottage earlier than agreed, which was kind. Inside, there was very little daylight unless we opened all three downstairs doors. Cleaning could have been better: long hairs were lying around, and the outdoor grill and barbecue passages were dirty and sticky. There was also a terrible smell outside. We traced it to a manhole cover; when we opened it, 4-cm-long cockroaches came out, and the drain was clogged with almost 30 cm of feces. I rinsed it away with the garden hose, which was disgusting. The owner didn't seem surprised, so I think this may happen often.

It's a beautiful place. The host isn't on the property, but makes everything available. There's a garden where, with the host's permission, you can pick a few things to use in the kitchen.

Right by the sea, with banana plantations in view and a really peaceful setting, this is a fantastic place to stay. It has all the comforts needed for a lovely holiday. Five stars!
