The proprietor was responsive and caring, and I'd recommend this place. Our stay in the beautiful hostel felt quiet, clean, and homely. We especially loved the balcony view of the very "shy" mount peak.

We had access to a big kitchen, which made it easy to shop for food and cook, and there was a garden where we could eat outside when the weather allowed. The guest house also offers laundry service, which isn't something you can take for granted. It's about ten minutes from Madalena centre and the port, and the atmosphere is charming and well cared for. From the moment we arrived in Pico, the warm welcome made the place feel like home. During the introductions, we learned about CW Azores, a wonderful company connected to the Guest House. It was a lovely experience, and I'd happily recommend it to future adventurers ❤️
