There isn’t much around the hotel, but it’s very quiet, clean, cheap, and the beds are comfortable. It’s about a 10min walk from the city center. We were there at the end of the season in September, and staff only came in every other day.

The Oliveira Family’s genuine kindness and hospitality, paired with the sublime seascapes and thoughtful touches that reflect Pico Island’s heritage and the family’s love for it, made this feel like paradise on earth. Truly perfection!

During the worldwide economic shutdown, which forced me to delay my travel plans, the staff at Vivenda Oliveira were very helpful. Nuno worked out a solution everyone could agree on. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again once international travel is possible, or to recommend Nuno and the rest of the friendly team at Vivenda Oliveira.
