We spent three nights at Casa do Borratem while travelling from Porto to Faro, and it was one of the best places we stayed. The price seemed surprisingly low for such a good stay. Everything was clean and pleasant, and the setting has the feel of a small Portuguese village. The location worked well for us, with the nearest beach about 15 minutes away by car and Lisbon around 30 minutes. Many thanks again.

The garden was great for our dog, and we could really relax and enjoy our holiday. The host was incredibly welcoming, and we felt right at home in his Portuguese house.

The garden at Casa do Borratém was lovely and peaceful, a great spot to sit in the sun. Inside, the house felt warm and full of charm, with traditional Portuguese decor and well-kept amenities. The kitchen was especially well equipped. It also made a calm place to return to after visiting Sintra, Mafra and Ericeira, which made the holiday even nicer. I’ll definitely be back.

We only had a few days, so Casa gave us a perfect base for exploring from Cascais to Lisbon. The house is wonderful, clean and very well maintained, with everything needed to feel comfortable. The owner was lovely, incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. With more time, we would have made even more of it.
