Pensão Central

We needed somewhere near the airport for an early flight, and this little Matosinhos gem worked perfectly. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, quiet, and cool, with AC, though not every room has it, so check when booking. Everything around Matosinhos was within easy walking distance. We'd definitely stay again.

The owner really makes this place, so friendly and helpful, with a great way of welcoming guests. The hotel looks lovely and the rooms are cozy. Breakfast can also be included in the price. My only complaint was that the room had no trash can. Otherwise, no issues. Highly recommend.

We booked two rooms for one night and had a great experience. They were on the small side, but very clean and comfortable. The owner and staff gave outstanding service and deserve praise. The pensao is well placed, with good transport connections and plenty of restaurants and other amenities nearby. We'll definitely return.

It's a basic, unpretentious room, kept extremely clean and in good shape. The staff are friendly, and the location is good. Soundproofing is basically nonexistent, but everyone was considerate during my two-night stay, so I had no problems. I'd recommend it for a night or two if you're nearby and want something practical rather than fancy.
