We spent a relaxing day by the pool in very tranquil surroundings. The rooms were clean and comfortable. This lovely Quinta sits across the Guadiana, with great views of Mertola and the castle.

We had the best room, right at the end, looking over the old town and river. The photos are from the balcony, and there were lots of lovely wild birds nearby. Mertola is a lovely little town. The hotel is quite remote, but wonderfully quiet and peaceful. Our room was clean, tidy, bright, and spacious, with windows overlooking the river. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it.

This was our third visit, and we’ll be back. The housekeeping team are so friendly and helpful, especially the main lady, who works incredibly hard. They’re a happy bunch and keep everything spotless. The comfortable rooms and beds make this small hotel a lovely place to relax for a few days. There are plenty of seating areas around the small pool, which overlooks the river and castle.
