A peaceful, clean place with private parking, and the welcome was warm. The owner was very friendly and ready to help. I stayed for two nights, and it's a good base if you want to explore the area. I'd recommend it.

The rooms and apartments have plenty of space and are comfortable, with a practical layout. Breakfast is included and there's a good range of ingredients. One annoyance for anyone who likes a big coffee is the local habit of offering just one Nespresso capsule. There can also be a sewage smell here at times, as I've encountered in other Portuguese accommodation.

It's a quiet spot, and you can stroll around the village on foot. The apartments are tastefully decorated, very clean, and have everything we needed for a good holiday. I loved meeting people from the area, who were so friendly and shared stories about their lives, as well as visiting the minimarkets. I'd definitely come back.

We stayed in the larger house: four bedrooms, all en suite, plus a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom, and another room with a pool table. The owners were so friendly and approachable, and made us feel comfortable using everything. The place was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities. Our one complaint was the lack of a freezer. The fridge was large, but had no freezer compartment, so we had to buy ice every day.
