There are good restaurants right nearby, and the hotel has extraordinary views just a few hundred metres away. It’s also well located for getting to Salamanca.

The Wi-Fi didn’t work, but the stay was good value. There’s no hotel parking, though we found a spot nearby even during the Geadas Festival weekend, and there are plenty of parking areas around. The River Fresno view from our room was lovely, and the Penedo Amarelo Viewpoint is about 400m away; the old downtown is around 600m away. The lady at the desk was always cheerful and helpful. The rooms were warm, and having a good supply of hot water in the shower and bathtub in winter was a real lifesaver. Each floor has folkloric decorations.

The room was okay, but the WC was cramped, with the wash basin practically hanging over the toilet. The owner/receptionist wasn’t especially welcoming.

The breakfast was very good, and the woman who welcomed us was incredibly kind. Our room was spacious and very clean, and parking right out front was easy. The location is unbeatable and the price very reasonable. I’d recommend this hotel 100%.
