Quinta da Regada do Moinho

We were given freshly picked raspberries and blueberries from the owners’ own plants, and when our car had a mechanical problem as we were leaving, they helped us with that too 😊 The owners were so friendly and helpful. The house is set back from the main road, with no homes nearby, so it feels very private, quiet, and safe. The river right beside it makes the setting even prettier, and there’s plenty of open land for children to play. Even in the heat outside, the house stayed cool. It was clean, fresh-smelling, and tidy, with a full bathroom on both the ground and first floors, which was very convenient. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and utensils you need. They’ve kept part of the old grain-grinding mechanism inside, which gives it a lovely rustic touch. The pool behind the house is great and gets sun from morning until evening. There’s also a little wooden cabin with a barbecue and two bikes for exploring the area.

We were welcomed with the fireplace already lit, and the owners were so friendly and easy to talk to. A great spot to rest and relax, with really comfortable, cosy rooms and a well-equipped house.

A rustic, well-kept place with all the comforts you need. We really liked it, and it’s an idyllic spot for a proper rest.

The welcome was wonderful, and I highly recommend this place. Just right for resting both body and mind.
