I liked the guest house, especially the bedroom and comfortable furniture, and the hosts were very friendly and did their best to help. But the gas for heating the water ran out one evening, leaving us without hot water for the rest of the night and the next morning. Since we were there for just one night in January, it really affected our mood and enjoyment. The problem wasn’t fixed, and by the time we left, we weren’t sorry to go.

Breakfast arrives at your door in a lovely picnic basket, with hot bread, croissants, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit, cheese, ham, cereal, and more. The staff are especially friendly, and the outdoor pool and seating area are very inviting. Our rooms were comfortable, with a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and spacious living room. Showers had dependable hot water. It’s a very relaxing place, with beautiful views over the vineyards and Valença's mountain range. We’d definitely stay again.

After cycling the Ecopista between Monção and Vila Nova de Cervira, we had a wonderful overnight stay. Rosário gave us a warm welcome and helpful suggestions, and it was lovely meeting Pedro, the owner. We enjoyed the views, hammocks, a walk through the vineyard, birdsong, and the scent of orange blossoms. The Quinta's Alvarinho was delicious and inexpensive. We travel around Northern Portugal a lot, and this was one of our favorite places to stay.

There’s a terrace with a pool and BBQ, looking out over the vineyards next to the property and the mountains around them. The owner and staff were very friendly. A great place to stay in the Alvarinho (vinho verde) wine region.

Really quiet and cosy, just right for relaxing. We got a very warm welcome, with local wine and jams. The breakfast was delicious too.
