Terra do Milho was wonderfully peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and lovely, helpful hosts. We got to try homemade goat cheese and plums grown there. The views are stunning, and it’s a place to properly relax and get off grid for a while. We had an amazing stay this summer.
The animals, including the dog, cats, and goats, bring a lot of warmth to Terra do Milho. Monique and Tom are caring, hardworking owners who soon made us feel at home. We’re doing a workstay here, and the tasks are always varied and informative. Each day we learn something new, whether it’s about garden food, caring for the goats and chickens, or constructing a new goat house. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to connect with nature and active farm life.
