There was a fantastic range of places within a short walk, including restaurants, hair salons and barbers, convenience stores, a tattoo shop, souvenir shops, pharmacies, bike rentals and Thai massage. The casino, which we didn't visit, along with the beach and boardwalk, were no more than about a 10-minute walk away. Spain was easy to reach too, with a short 15-minute ferry trip from Vila Real de Santo Antonio. Honestly, everything in Monte Gordo is walkable. We're hoping to retire near here in the winter eventually, and if these accommodations are available and affordable for a longer stay, they'd be among our top options.

This condominium is fantastic, with everything close by and both an adult and a children's pool. It's very near the beach. I have a T2 apartment for sale.

The condo is pleasant and seems well frequented, with a nice pool. It's right by the beach in the sought-after part of Monte Gordo, and all the essentials are close at hand.

Good facilities, a convenient location, and access to a pool 🙂

It was what had been advertised, and the area was peaceful and suited a family holiday. Parking was chaotic, though the GNR generally leave you alone unless you’re committing a serious offence. I’ll almost certainly come back.
