Azorean Butler Guest House

The house worked really well for our family of six, and the two rental units can be booked separately. One side sleeps four, the other two comfortably, with another room containing two single beds that could bring the total to eight. We had two rental cars and found space for two or three in the rear yard. Out back are two lovely terraces, each with an open-flame barbecue that we used regularly in the evenings, before heading to the front terrace for the sunsets. The open-plan interior is fully furnished and bright, with beautiful ocean views from both floors. Each bedroom and living room has its own air conditioning, which made things more comfortable. We loved the sounds of the ocean and the sunsets, with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Mosteiros natural pools, beaches, restaurants, and the local market are a short walk away. There’s so much to see around the island, with breathtaking scenery and friendly people. I’d happily return and recommend it to couples or families.

We had three families staying here, and the two separate units suited us perfectly. Each has a full kitchen and an oceanfront patio. The host also prepared a crib and high chair so our baby would be comfortable. The waterfront setting gave us the island’s best sunset views, making this an ideal base for our family holiday. I can’t recommend it enough!

We had a great stay. The home was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view, and we couldn’t have enjoyed our time more.
