The host greeted us so warmly. But nobody mentioned during booking that late check-in costs an extra 30€. We only found that out just after we'd booked. The room was okay for a city trip, and the location was good, within walking distance of the old town. It was pretty dirty, though. We also lost electricity one evening and for part of the morning. We told the host, but got no reply at all. I know things like this can happen, and the power was back the next day, but some kind of response would've been nice.

The host had great advice for us when we arrived, and breakfast was brought over each morning. We stayed for a long weekend with friends and found the flat spacious, with comfortable rooms and decent beds. The living room was large too.

If you're driving in Porto, the free parking in the city center is a big plus. Once the car is parked, you can walk to the main sights, and the rooms are spacious. For the comfort and location, it feels like good value, especially with downtown parking being so limited and expensive. A sensible option if you need a car.

It's a very large apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, a good base for walking to the historic center, and restaurants close by. The train station is about 1 km away, and breakfast was good. I hadn't realized it wasn't a hotel, but that was fine. You do need to collect the key five blocks away. The place itself felt ugly and was very noisy on a busy street, and there was no air conditioning. I'd recommend it to someone looking specifically for an apartment.

Ricardo greeted us warmly and made sure we had what we needed to enjoy the stay. The apartment was modern, comfortable, and practical, and having parking available was useful since we came by car.
