The views are outstanding, and the people here are so kind. They’ll go out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. If you need a place to unwind and recharge from everyday life, this is it.

Fabulous place, definitely worth the trouble getting there. It’s hard to find on an unnamed road, and a grid reference would have helped. The tip is to enter Maurao and follow the signs to the Piscina at each junction until you reach a straight road leaving town. Ignore the final Piscina sign telling you to turn left, and carry on over two narrow bridges. Then follow the blue signs to the hotel.

Great meals, and a lovely spot to watch the sunset with someone special. It’s quiet and peaceful, a perfect place to get your energy back.

A calm, peaceful place to stay.
