Quinta da Pedra Mija

The pool and spectacular garden made this a great place to stay, with everything we needed for a five-star visit. There’s also a barbecue area, and the activities provided at the quinta kept our days fun. Great if you’re looking for some peace and family time. Sr. João is a very friendly host.

We found plenty to explore around the quinta, with its beautiful natural surroundings and lots of space. The house is charming, far from the city, and all you hear is nature. It had everything we needed for a few quiet, restful days: a well-equipped kitchen with all the utensils, tidy rooms, towels provided, and everything very clean. The owners were lovely and welcoming. Definitely an experience I’d repeat, and I recommend it.

The kids loved the house and had lots of room to play. The owners were friendly and ready to sort out any issues, and with the great weather we made the most of the pool and outdoor space. We brought enough food for four days for six adults and two children, and the fridge space was a little tight, so keeping everything cold was difficult. Still, nothing went bad. The house had all the comforts we needed, and we were lucky with the weather. It was a lovely stay, and it was hard to go back to the usual routine. We’d definitely return.

We had a wonderful family weekend in a charming place, tastefully done and with lovely views. The pool was a real treat, and the house had all the comforts we needed. I recommend it.
