A very economical spot for a quick breakfast break on the long drive from Albufeira to Beja.

The staff do seem to be trying, but it doesn't make up for how neglected everything else is. The place is spacious, yet badly looked after, and the food isn't anything special. At noon on Monday the toilet had neither soap nor paper. The outdoor play area reflects the state of the whole property: broken swings, everything abandoned, even a car battery left there. The facilities are there, but the neglect is huge and they don't meet even basic standards. I took a look at the pool and its deck was broken. If the front of house is like this, I don't want to imagine the kitchen.

We stopped for lunch since it was on our way, and the food was delicious, especially the great desserts. The staff were so attentive and helped us a lot, even though they didn't speak any Portuguese.

We booked three rooms for six people, and none were ready when we arrived. We only stayed the one night, and that was already too long. The rooms were dirty and poorly insulated, with a musty smell throughout the rooms and common areas. In Room 1, the sheets and blankets had holes. Room 2 had a broken handle and a broken bathroom door, with a hole and an impact mark from a fight. There was no hot water, and the AC and electrical outlets didn't work properly. Room 3 also had no hot water and faulty outlets, plus insects. I'd avoid this place. It's not even suitable for one night.
