Jose is a next-level host, really accommodating. His family's property was a nice change after Porto and Lisbon, and the setting encouraged us to disconnect and enjoy the old days before being constantly connected. I'd recommend choosing one of the rooms outside the big house for more privacy and space.

A stay in the tree house was refreshing and delightful. The natural surroundings and historical touches, together with a comfortable place to stay, made for a perfect getaway. Thanks for an unforgettable visit. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful and different.

The owners are so nice, they made us feel like part of the family. It's a lovely, quiet place, and all you hear is the river and birds. Thank you so much!

I've known this place for a long time. José's vision and dream have brought together luxurious nature in what feels like a little bit of paradise. It's secluded, yet civilization is only minutes away. The rooms, the river, the terraces, it's all just perfect!

Even though I'm far from home, this place gave me that at-home feeling. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and the nature, buildings, and history of the place are all beautiful. It's the best place we've stayed, and I recommend it. We'll definitely come again!
