We were there for eight nights, from July into August, for a Circus convention in Ovar, and this lovely old country farmhouse was such a treat. The rooms are spacious and full of character, with gardens, water features, animals, and a kitchen all around you in nature. Claudia was hilarious, friendly, and welcoming, and always happy to help or share local tips. We had our own car, but there are plenty of taxis for getting around. The white and ginger cat was another highlight, I got lots of cuddles. Obrigada Claudia. Love from Carly & Matt xx

The building's history as a water mill for the surrounding area gives it a really appealing feel. Our rustic room was charming, with a fridge, kettle, and TV, and there was also a shared kitchen and space to use. We arrived by bike, and Claudia gave us a warm welcome. We could leave the bikes on the property. Ovar city centre is a reasonable walk, perhaps 15-20 minutes. The shower and bath had plenty of hot water.

For 49 euro, I expected the basics, like running water, a toilet that flushes, and working internet. The shower only had boiling hot water, with no cold water to mix in, and there was no water supply to flush the toilet. The wifi connected but had no internet. The room was cold and the bed linen hadn't been changed. The online pictures gave the wrong impression. Just awful.

Claudia and Paulo, thank you for such a lovely stay. The place was wonderful for a short break or a holiday, and the owners were very friendly.
