The bathroom and air conditioning had mold, the room was dirty, and the terrace chairs were rusted. The place feels badly outdated. Breakfast was passable if you could pick out something that hadn't gone stale from the day before. They’ve added a few modern lounge chairs in the lobby, but that does little for the state of the room. Staff didn’t speak English. At checkout, at least, the staff member had the sense not to ask how my stay was.

I cut my four-night booking down to one night, and I’m still waiting for the refund. The listing said the room had a desk and safe, but neither was there, and there wasn’t even a bin. Both the sink and bath taps leaked, the light dimmers were broken, and the only thing that worked was the air conditioning. Wi-Fi didn’t reach the room, with no Ethernet connection either. The pool was meant to close at the end of October, yet it was already shut on October 4 despite temperatures around 30C. I can put up with an old building, but without the pool or Wi-Fi all they offer is a bed and breakfast. The listing didn’t match reality. Worst stay I’ve had. Don’t waste your money.

The staff were really friendly, and it wasn’t busy while we were there at this time of year. Rooms are a little dated, though the outdoor pool helps make up for that. It’s not much use in winter. The hotel itself is okay.

There’s just one usable electrical outlet in the room, and the restaurant needs to be booked ahead. The place was otherwise spotless, and the staff were helpful and friendly. I’d gladly stay again.

The restaurant and outdoor areas were good, and there’s a small private parking area. The bedroom felt dated, had some damage, and could do with more light.
