Charming little boutique hotel, very clean, and a lovely change from the big chains. Breakfast was served individually, with warm bread, and the staff were very nice. Just keep in mind that you need to manage stairs, since only the green room is right by the lobby. There’s a slight musty smell in the rooms, which seems typical of a building with its history as an old winery.

We booked a few days ahead and were pleasantly surprised when Rita told us the wine tasting at Casa de Atalaia would be a private tour. The historic building tour was fascinating and very well prepared. Then we tried several wines from the winery with excellent cheese, bread, and dessert. We’d requested vegetarian food, and everything was regional. The owner led the tasting and shared lots of stories. Her grandfather founded the winery. We enjoyed the wines so much that we bought a few bottles to take with us. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you for such a lovely time 🍇🖤

Breakfast kept us full for our riding outing, and the castle was an easy walk away. We felt so welcome and really well cared for the whole time. Thank you ❤️

A charming spot for a quick break from city life. The rooms have stylish decor, and the place has its own distinct feel. I’d recommend it for couples.

What a lovely place tucked away in a charming village. For somewhere this luxurious, it’s very good value.
