Quinta de Fiães

We came to unwind for a few days, and it was the perfect spot. Dinners were great, especially with the excellent wines made at home. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the gardens and good-sized pool were lovely. Our room was comfortable, and the self-contained apartments are another option. The restored, family-run working wine lodge sits in peaceful surroundings.

The place was beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and clean, and the food was so good and homemade. The wine comes from the farm’s own vineyards. What really made the stay was how lovely and dedicated everyone was about making it better. This was much more than somewhere to sleep, it was a great experience. I’d give it 6-7 stars if I could. Definitely coming back. Amazing!

The spacious rooms and apartments are set in peaceful natural surroundings, with lots of birds and kind dogs greeting you and keeping watch over the property. The host was entertaining and shared sightseeing tips for the neighborhood, including Pinhao. The cook, the host’s mother-in-law, made honest, very tasty traditional Portuguese meals. A great Quinta to stay at, I can absolutely recommend it. This is how a vacation should feel 🌞😊.

It felt a bit like sharing someone’s home, and the owners were very enthusiastic. Set in a rural part of the Douro Valley, the hotel has its own vineyard and an outdoor pool. Our room had a walk-in shower. Dinner and breakfast were both very nice, and the owner did our laundry for a very reasonable price, which we really appreciated.
