Magdalena and Antonio made the whole stay memorable, from the cake and wine waiting for us to the day we left. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a big garden, pool, fish and frogs in a pond, chickens, and a well-kept vegetable patch. They took us around the area in their horse-drawn carriage, brought us for afternoon tea in Paredes, and drove us up the mountain in a 4x4 to see wild horses. Our daughters also got to ride Duque, a beautiful, gentle horse who lives in his stable at one side of the garden. The owners were always ready to help. We went last July and won't forget it. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Antonio and Susana, thank you so much. We had a wonderful week at Casa de Cerca in Coura last July and hope to return soon. The house is in an authentic rural setting, yet well placed for key trips around northern Portugal. The host is always available and thoughtful about making the stay work for both children and adults. You can see that care in all the little details. We couldn't recommend it more.

The setting, the mountains, and the house and garden were all wonderful, and there was even a fish pond and bikes for outings. We loved the horse rides and the off-road trips into the hills, and it was great that pets are welcome. For anyone after a real rural tourism experience, I'd recommend this place. Everything felt perfect to me. We'll definitely come back.

The owners are such friendly people, and breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade pastries. Our room was cozy and very clean, with a really comfortable bed. Mr. Antonio and Mrs. Magdalena, it was lovely meeting you. Thanks for everything, we'll be back!

Really very good. The hosts, Mr. Antonio and Mrs. Madalena, deserve six stars.
