After two rainy days trekking the Camino, I was chilled through, so it was great to have heat in the room and extra blankets. There was lots of floor space too, enough to lay out my yoga mat. I appreciated the shampoo and body wash in individual packets, since that meant less waste. A kettle, coffee, and tea were always available, and I used the kettle to fill my hot water bottle for my cold, aching body. It was a very nice place to stay, but I’m not giving full marks for the location. It was a considerable distance from the trail, I think about a kilometer, and the walk meant going along the roadway.

Isabel was very accommodating, and everyone was friendly. Since the beautiful Quinta is a little way from the Camino, they offered rides to places at no extra cost. There’s also a decent swimming pool. It’s an excellent place, and I’ll definitely return 👍🏼

The owners made us feel welcome right away with a beer, then served us a lovely glass of Port on our last night. Everyone was so friendly, the location was lovely, and we had a great stay.

Isabel made the place feel like home, and the whole stay was simple, elegant, and homely. She also kindly arranged a shuttle to dinner and another trip to the starting point of our Camino the next day. Lovely gestures.

The room was huge, clean, and smelled lovely. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful too. Such an amazing place, highly recommended!
