A Serrana

We had a great stay at Serrana Gerês Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful the whole time, real hosts. Our room and shower were good, the pool was clean, and breakfast was tasty. The location worked well, between the Geres Vila and the bridges. We recommend it and will probably stay again when we return. Muito obrigado from Marco and Eva.

Our family group of 22 stayed here from 19 to 26 July 2025, taking 10 rooms. It was a wonderful week, with a family atmosphere, a perfect location and easy access around Gerês. We felt at home, and having the facilities close together made things very comfortable. The rooms were comfortable, the pool was pleasant, and there was parking, welcoming sitting and gathering rooms, and an outdoor terrace for a gin or reading. Breakfast was good too. The main road location is about 1 km from Gerês village, an easy walk of around 15 minutes. Tiago and his family took on the business in the first half of 2025. They were attentive hosts and always available to help with requests. They also arranged dinner at the pension through a partnership with a local restaurant, so our whole family could eat together. It was very convenient and saved us a lot of time and effort. The pension has a lot of potential and some things to improve, which Tiago has already identified, though it will take time to put them in place. They deserve support for the effort they make to help guests feel at home. We’ve already booked 10 rooms for a week in 2026, and are even thinking of coming in winter. Highly recommend.
