It's such a lovely place to relax and switch off. I felt at home straight away, thanks to the warmest welcome I've had in ages. I'll do my best to come back.

Everything was spotless and the accommodation had all the utensils we needed. D Arminda was so kind. I loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Getting here isn't the easiest, but the welcome made the trip worthwhile. We were a couple travelling with a child, and loved our stay. The prices are very fair for what's included. We'll definitely be back.

The hosts were five-star. They quickly felt like familiar neighbours, and only appeared when we needed them. Their positive energy made us feel special. We had five good nights and feel lucky to have picked this place as our base for exploring Gerês. It's well located in the village, well equipped, and has good rooms. I think everyone deserves a Casa da Avó 💙

The place was very clean and tidy, and the bathroom was nice, though too small for so many people. If complete quiet is what you want, this is your spot, since talking isn't allowed after 10. We mentioned that one person was lactose intolerant, but they didn't take that into account at breakfast. The rest was passable.
