We had a really good dinner here last night. There’s plenty of space in the restaurant, and the tables aren’t cramped together. The staff were attentive and happy to accommodate us, and everything we ate was very tasty, made with local produce. They also have a good range of local wines. Even the toilets were clean, spacious, and well supplied. Definitely recommend a visit.

The alheira was the best I've tried so far, and the rest of the Portuguese food was delicious too. The portions, quality, and price felt fair. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the region.

The drive is a bit of a trek, but the restaurant is well worth it. We went twice during our Gerês trip, once for dinner and again for lunch the next day. Dinner was posta and feijoada transmontana, both fantastic, then the Cozido at lunch was one of the best meals I've ever had. The starters were great too. The chorizo might not suit everyone, but everything else was homemade and amazing. Get the house wine with your food, then finish with aguardante. For dessert, go for the Bolo de Chocolate. You can also ask to see where they make the presunto and chorizo right beside the restaurant. It's nice to see the traditional process.

We had lunch here as a group of around 20, and it was all good. The beef was medium rare, and the dessert was an amazing "bolo de chocolate".
