Casa Fonte do Laboreiro worked really well as a base for visiting the Park, Melgaço, Monção, Sra. da Peneda, Soajo, Lindoso, and a bit of Spain. Restaurants and shops are right nearby, and we could leave the car on the property, which has plenty of parking on both the lower and upper levels. The house has all the comforts you could want, with lots of space in the kitchen, living rooms, and bedrooms. We had no trouble fitting a travel cot for our child. Being able to bring pets mattered a lot to us, since we had our cat and a pinscher with us. Even though the nights were still very cold, the house stayed comfortable with the fireplace and central heating. D. Armandina was lovely, and there was fresh bread in the morning.

The breakfast was a treat, with fresh bread every time and delicious honey. The house is warm and spacious, with lots of beautifully decorated rooms and suites. It’s central, close to everything in Castro Laboreiro. I highly recommend it.

A really lovely house in a handy location, well equipped too. Nothing was missing. I’d definitely recommend it.

The owner always makes sure we have everything we need. I book this lovely house twice a year, and it’s a unique experience every time, with great service. The building itself is beautiful, and so is its location.
