The view through the windows was gorgeous, the service highly attentive, and the meal excellent with generous portions.

The young guy looking after us was a charming, down-to-earth lad, and the service was good. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Definitely try the octopus, it was amazing.

Go in the daytime if you can, since the view is the best part of the place. You still pay for it through the menu at night, but can't enjoy it then. The cod was amazing, though the portion for one was so big that the two of us finished it only with some difficulty. Keep that in mind when ordering. The vegetarian alheira was not good at all, so we wouldn't recommend it. It's an expensive restaurant with an upscale feel. Service was okay, and they gave us a good wine suggestion, but weren't as friendly as we're used to in this area.

Dinner was a highlight. The roast kid came with potatoes and green beans in a tasty sauce, and we had a nice red wine with it. The service was great too. I really enjoyed my stay. Check-in was online, so my key was waiting in an envelope at reception when I arrived. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and warm, and the shower was fine.

We had dinner here with friends, then got takeaway the following day. It's one of the village's best restaurants, with pretty good food and a nice view, though it isn't particularly cheap. The staff were kind and attentive. There's plenty of seating, so it's handy if you're trying to find somewhere at the last minute.
