Friumes is a quiet village with no services apart from a local bar, but everything else is an easy drive away. We loved the countryside views from this very clean family villa. There were just two of us, so we had plenty of space, and there's a full-size kitchen. Carlos, our host, was very helpful and suggested lots of nearby places to visit and restaurants. Google Translate meant language wasn't a problem. As Australians, we really enjoyed staying in such an authentic small village.

The hospitality was excellent, and the outside area for grilling and spending time together was very well cared for. The garden was huge and beautifully maintained. The house was lovely and very spacious. Everything was excellent.

A great place to unwind and switch off, with wonderful views and an incredible house. It's about 30 minutes from Coimbra. The owner was very friendly and attentive.

The house has been furnished and put together with so much attention to detail. We're looking forward to many more lovely days and nights here.
