Sao and Paulo were there when we arrived and showed us around. The whole house was ours for the two nights, with enough rooms for at least five pairs. It seems to have been a bed and breakfast before, judging by the guestbook, but now the owners live farther away and rent it out for a few nights. Breakfast things were already in the kitchen, including gluten-free food for me. The place is furnished and comfortable throughout. My wife and I had a delightful stay in this schist village. If you want somewhere in Portugal that feels authentic and is well away from a big city, this is a great fit.
