Our puppy got to have his first holiday with us here, since the hostel welcomes dogs. The staff were so lovely, the garden was a treat, and breakfast was the best. If you’re after somewhere peaceful and relaxing near Peniche, this is a great choice.

There are lots of common areas to spend time in, and they change the towels daily. A small breakfast is included, and the water gets hot quickly, so there’s barely any wait for a warm or hot shower. The bathroom is small and a bit worn. Its shower curtain keeps falling down, and the old window and blinds are hard to open and close. There aren’t many power outlets, which is a drawback. Also, the church bells ring every 15 minutes.

We felt right at home here. The staff are both adorable and professional, always ready to help and share good tips about the area. Breakfasts were incredible, and the prices are affordable for a cozy stay in a typical Portuguese town.

The hostel is in a beautiful, peaceful village, just five minutes from the beach. Lovely rooms, fair prices, and amazing staff. A great place to stay.

Our room was clean, and the front desk staff were friendly. They even stayed an extra hour so we could arrive and check in, and gave us great dinner recommendations.
