H2O Surfguide Hostel

The location worked perfectly for getting to the beach and nearby bars and cafes, and Francesco was a kind, helpful host. We tried both a private room with its own bathroom and a four-person room with a shared bathroom. Both rooms and bathrooms were clean and pleasant. We didn't use the kitchen much, but I think keeping it tidy depends on the guests, and not everyone is neat. There were enough dishes for everyone, so I can't complain about that. Highly recommended!

The owner was genuinely nice and helpful, and even worked out a good price for my longer stay. But the place felt cold and empty. The kitchen was very dirty, with just one frying pan, no toaster, and counters that never seemed to get cleaned. My private room was absolutely filthy, and I had to clean it properly myself. There's more I could list. It needs a professional clean first, and then they should take a look at what other hostels offer for the same price.

Affordable prices and a great location. The layout is simple and clean, and the host was perfect.

The owner was friendly and gave me some surf and restaurant tips. As a cheap bed for one night, it was fine, and I'd use it for that again. But the house felt lifeless, hardly any lights worked, and there was just one main bathroom for everyone, which wasn't very clean. I wouldn't choose it for a pleasant stay.
