Helena and her family were so friendly and helpful, and made me feel at home. I had a wonderful stay in excellent accommodation.

Claudio (the owner) was incredibly helpful with recommendations for surf spots and places to eat. He also helped people get to the trains or arranged taxis, and took us to the butcher and fish market for dinner supplies. He grilled amazing food for us on three of our five nights, and even shared eggs from his chickens when we ran out. The surf house has a basic selection of boards for rent, while the MANY nearby surf shops can help if you want a higher performance board. We surfed every day. Kiki (pronounced zhee-zhee), the nearest break, is about an eight-minute walk away. We rented a board here for 15$/day and two from Alex Surf School down the street for 30$/day. We had great food in town (
