Quinta do Limite Agroturismo

The cherry picking was a lovely family experience. We could eat as much as we wanted there, then each take home 1 kg. We went on our last day, with our two kids, aged 9 and 11, during a weekend at Quinta do Limite. The host, the owner, was warm and bubbly, paid attention to every detail, and even had a cherry 🍒 theme in her outfit. You can feel how much the three generations behind this family business care about it. The farm setting is wonderful, up on a mountain with cherry trees stretching into the distance and views of Serra da Estrela. The recently renovated accommodation suits the farm feel, and was clean, rustic, homely, and nicely decorated. Breakfast is continental, with fresh eggs from their chickens, and the homemade cherry yogurt is a must. The kids loved the salt water pool, a great way to cool off in the dry heat. A lovely, quiet family retreat.

Such a lovely stay, whether you’re there for one night or a whole week. Sandrinha and her husband are so generous, and the room, saloon, and breakfast were all wonderful. Everything about it felt perfect.
