We had a very comfortable night's sleep, and I’d definitely come back. For €33 a night with continental breakfast, it’s at the top end of the budget range, but still amazing value. Everything is basic. The staff were helpful, friendly, and informative, and the cleaning was nearly perfect. It's just a two-minute walk from the train station. The one thing I missed at breakfast was fresh fruit. The receptionist was my favorite and kept me smiling all day, though unfortunately I didn't ask his name. Thanks for a great experience, see you soon.

I spent one night here during my motorcycle trip through Portugal and was very satisfied. The hotel was clean, and the staff were kind and friendly. Thanks 🙏

For a budget hotel with no frills, everything worked well: lots of TV channels, strong WiFi, and a good shower. The beds were comfortable, it was lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was the usual continental kind, with enough variety for most tastes. The location is great, with river and town-centre views, plenty of restaurants, and the bus and train just a two-minute walk away.

The hotel has an attractive spot by the Douro, with a view over the city. But traffic noise was very disruptive, especially at night, and the rooms aren't soundproof. There was no internet access in my room. I also had to carry my bags up the stairs to the second floor because there’s no lift.

The hotel is dated, but clean and well located beside the river and train station. Breakfast is included, which makes it especially good value for money. It was a great place for the price, though I'm not sure I'd stay here again.
